This ridiculously awesome game goes under many names...PC热血格斗传说NGC...NGC (Nekketsu Great Collection)...Legend of Burning Fighters...Hot-Blooded Battle...KD (Kakutou Densetsu) Enhanced Version...etc, etc.
There have been numerous versions of this game over the years, but it is actually still pretty unknown; it's hosted by the creator(s) on a really odd forum/blog. The only reason I found out about it is when I was looking at traffic on my videos recently; It popped up when I was watching Nekketsu Dairantou and there was a video on the side for it. When I saw that video and found out where to get this (free) game, I HAD to make a video for it.
Have you ever played the Famicom game "Nekketsu Kakutou Densetsu"? This game is a MEGA upgrade to that game. How mega? There are over 100 stages, this version has "Kunio" versions of KOF and Street Fighter characters, tons of moves, dozens upon dozens of characters, old school music with some enhanced/remixed music, EIGHT fighters at once, 60FPS, loads of options, crazy level hazards, various rules and lots of options for highly customized battles, and loads of other things.
You can even make an "edit" character, by giving them a birthdate and name, you make a character with a random look, stats, and skills. I should warn you though; edit characters start REALLY weak, but they can have skills that really work well with each other and they can eventually hold their own, though that will take work. There's also a story, though it isn't really important.
The game is a brawler whereas Nekketsu Dairantou is a Fighter Maker fighting game. Don't get me wrong, ND is still a great game (that lets you play with a few of the Nekketsu girls as well) and has an awesome 2-on-2 battle mode and better special effects and more animations. However, if you are looking for a more pure Kunio game where you pick up stuff, kick crates, and beatdown punks in a gang-style fashion, this is your game. It aims to be the Nekketsu game to end all Nekketsu games.
